Watson joined Cloudflare in 2018. Before Cloudflare, Watson studied number theory at Berkeley, graduating with a PhD in 2018. Since then he has been involved in launching and running Cloudflare’s public time service, standardization and deployment efforts, and translating advanced cryptography research into products. Watson regularly participates in the IETF across security related groups.
